African Parrot

African Parrots include a wide ranging group of Parrots from Africa. Some are birds from Nigeria, which on average have darker wing-coverts. Those from the Congo on average are larger. Occasionally these birds have salmon-pink feathers, which is within the color variation of the species.

African Parrots can make great pets. They are loving, and very intelligent. Some can even mimic words and sounds that you make yourself.

African Parrots are usually very smart. Because of this they can learn to open up many types of different locks and cages. So be careful with your bird, they are very cunning.
